Though the 2006 MoonGrass shows in the Wildflower Tent were an undeniable success - leaving us with many great memories of the Uncle Earl and Tim O'Brien Band shows - we did not hold any MoonGrass shows during the 2007 RockyGrass. Stay tuned for info about possible MoonGrass shows during the 2008 Festival.
The construction of the new Wildflower Pavilion has occupied much of our efforts this spring as we strive to create a permanent concert venue to rival our outdoor festival settings. The Pavilion will be ready to go for the Academy and the Festival. But we've decided to forego MoonGrass shows for this year as we make the final Pavilion preparations.
Sorry to disapoint some of you. But we can promise you that the picking out in the campgrounds is well worth your time, whether you wander around just listening, sing a song of your own, or pick up a guitar for a searing lead to Goldrush. There'll be plenty of music to fill your night.
We do plan to bring back MoonGrass shows in 2008. We'll have more info about that next spring. In the meantime, plan to join us for evening shows in the Wildflower Pavilion as part of our Wildflower Concert Series. These tickets are on sale now.
