The Telluride Bluegrass Festival is rich in history, both musical and otherwise. We are in the process of compiling an online historical archive of the festival’s past. This is a long-term project, so check back periodically as we continue to make available more historical information - all the way back to the Telluride Fourth of July Celebration in 1973.
We Can Use Your Help

Use the buttons below to download the official printed programs from past festivals as Adobe PDF files.
Programs from 2012 onward can be found on Issuu.
A special thanks to Telluride Tom for collecting and scanning most of these programs. This program archive would not exist without his hours of hard work. Check out his program archive for higher-resolution scans. Additional thanks to John Pearson for his scan of the 1992 program. If you have a copy of one of the programs we are missing from this list and are willing to help improve this archive, please contact us or Telluride Tom.
- www.TellurideTom.com - Tom’s site has a wealth of information about the festival, including recordings, photos, the original TBF Program archive, and other items.
- “Packing for Telluride” (9.3MB mp3 file) - Longtime festivarian James Buchanan, part of the motly crewe now known as Camp Wander-in’ in Town Park, summarizes the festivarian experience in his tune “Packing for Telluride” (“I’m packing light, leaving all this weight behind”.
