Honoring the memory and musical legacy of BJ Suter and Angela Gold—two passionate, community-driven artists who embodied the spirit of creativity, connection, and compassion–this fund is intended to provide tuition assistance to a limited number of students who feel they are in need of financial assistance. Created in partnership with eTown, a nonprofit dedicated to music, community, and environmental stewardship, the scholarship supports songwriters seeking to deepen their craft at the renowned Song School in Lyons, Colorado.

The tuition assistance fund is open to all students who fill out the Song School Tuition Assistance Application form. Application forms must be submitted by June 1st, 2025 @10pmMT to be considered. All information will remain confidential. Notification emails will be emailed to students by June 4th notifying them that they have or have not received tuition assistance. Students who have already purchased their ticket will receive a refund to the credit or debit card they used for their original purchase.

Through this fund, BJ and Angela’s love for music, mentorship, and connection lives on—nurturing the next generation of performing songwriters.
