2026 Academy Pricing
A non-refundable payment of $150 reserves your space in The Academy. The remainder of your payment will automatically be charged on April 15th, 2026.
You must select “Payment Plan” before checking out or it will default to full payment. As always, pricing is “all-in” meaning all fees and applicable taxes are included.

Academy & RockyGrass Onsite Vehicle Pass Bundle (20ft max)

This pass must be purchased if you wish to camp in your vehicle (ie Van, Trailer, Truck) within in the campground. This is sold as a bundle package with RockyGrass Onsite Vehicle Pass to minimize the movement of vehicles within the campground between events. The maximum length for an on-site vehicle is 20 feet

Other people are still shopping and checking out while you have items in your cart. To avoid the situation where you go to check-out and your item is no longer available try to be as efficient as possible.
The maximum number of students allowed to be purchased in a single order is five (5). This includes both adults, vehicles, and kids. You are limited to one per class so you can’t purchase 3 Novice Banjo classes but you can purchase 1 Novice Banjo and 1 Intermediate Banjo.
These limits are designed to allow families or groups to attend together but limits groups from buying too many tickets at once or more than they need.
A limited number of Bundled Academy & RockyGrass Onsite Vehicle Passes will be available for $360. This pass must be purchased if you wish to sleep in your vehicle (ie Van, Trailer, Truck) within the campground. This is sold as a bundle package with the RockyGrass Onsite Vehicle Pass to minimize the movement of vehicles between events. The maximum length for an on-site vehicle is 20 feet. These passes are very limited and only 1 pass per order will be allowed at check out.
FREE PARKING is still available (you can still store stuff in your car) just outside the campground. Vehicles can remain here for the entire Academy.

No. Only Medical Refunds for the full tuition will be issued. Please email schools@bluegrass.com with note from your doctor as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to attend Academy.
If the payment plan was selected, the $150 deposit paid at the time of purchase to hold the spot for Academy is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your registration before April 15th, please email schools@bluegrass.com so that the the remainder of the payment ($700) will not be charged to the card on file. This will cancel the Academy spot and it will be released on a future date.
If the full payment has already been made. A refund will only be issued if it is due to a Medical reason. Please email schools@bluegrass.com with a note from your doctor as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to attend Academy. If it is a not a Medical issue, no refunds from Planet Bluegrass are available but you may transfer your ticket. See the FAQ item: “Can I transfer my Academy registration”.
Yes. Your RockyGrass Academy tickets are transferable up until July 1.
Please note that at Academy check-in, your Academy pass must be located in your (or your family’s) Eventim/SeeTickets account. Because of this requirement, all transfers must be completed using one of the two methods below.
1. Friends & Family (Direct Transfer)
Best for: Transferring a pass to a friend or family member when you do not need help handling payment.
- There is no fee to transfer a ticket using Friends & Family.
- Any payment for the ticket must be handled privately between the buyer and seller.
- The original purchaser must have paid for the ticket in full before initiating the transfer.
- The sender begins the transfer in Eventim/SeeTickets, and the recipient must accept the transfer for it to be completed.
- A ticket transferred via Friends & Family can only be transferred once. The recipient cannot transfer the ticket again.
- Per Planet Bluegrass Terms & Conditions, once a Friends & Family transfer is initiated, it cannot be canceled by the original purchaser.

2. Tixel (Resale With Payment Support)
Best for: Selling your pass to someone you don’t know, or if you want assistance with payment and resale.
- Planet Bluegrass has partnered with Tixel to provide a secure resale platform.
- Tixel charges the buyer a 6% fee.
- Once the buyer has paid and accepted the transfer, the ticket is fully owned by the recipient and will no longer appear in the original purchaser’s account.
- Tickets transferred via Tixel may be transferred again by the new owner.
- Additional details about Tixel transfers will be shared by February 3.
Once a transfer has been completed using either method, Planet Bluegrass will email the new ticket holder a registration form. This form must be completed to finalize enrollment in their RockyGrass Academy class.
