Folks Festival On-Site Campground
Planet Bluegrass On-Site Campground
Includes 3-day festival pass
The On-Site Campground allows tent camping and vehicles with a vehicle pass (<18’).
Vehicle passes are required for any vehicle parked in the campground and are intended for campers who plan to sleep in their vehicle. A limited number of vehicle passes will be sold. RVs are not permitted on-site. There are no hookups or services.
The On-Site Campground opens at 6pm on the Thursday immediately before the festival, and closes at noon on the Monday immediately after the Festival. Please find the special load in procedure and timing HERE.
This campground does not have established quiet hours.
Facilities: Potable water, porta potties, permanent restrooms and showers
Location: On the Planet Bluegrass Ranch at 500 W Main St. in Lyons, CO. Fields on both the north (tents only) and south sides (tents and vehicles) of the Festival grounds.
Vibe: Saunter back and forth from the Festival to your campsite throughout the day. With easy access to the Planet Bluegrass bathhouse and showers, lots of shady trees, the St. Vrain River, and the ability to hear the festival from most campsites, on-site camping has become an extremely popular ticket. And that doesn’t even begin to consider the world-renowned jamming that takes place late into the night throughout this campground.
Parking: If you don’t need to sleep in your vehicle with a vehicle pass, parking is available at the Planet Bluegrass Farm for $10 cash/weekend. Shuttles run from the Farm Parking to the Campground and the walk is roughly 1,500ft from the North Field and 2,500ft from the South Field.
Festival Access: Unzip your tent, step out, and you’re there! Okay, maybe you have to walk a few hundred yards to the gate, but it doesn’t get any closer than this.
